Are Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian “at war” over Tristan Thompson? A tabloid is claiming the sisters are in a “family feud” due to Tristan Thompson’s infidelity. But Gossip Cop can point out evidence that shows that’s not actually the case.

According to In Touch, Kourtney’s “anger” at Thompson has come between her and Khloe. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Khloe and Kourtney have been at odds, yelling and screaming. Friends are worried they’ll never be the same again.” It’s alleged Kourtney has been giving her younger sibling “tough love,” and Khloe is “hurt” as a result and “thinks Kourtney could be more sensitive to what she’s going through,” particularly since she has her own complicated history with Scott Disick.

From Kourtney’s perspective, however, Khloe “isn’t standing up for herself,” contends the magazine, which cites a purported “insider” as asserting, “Kourtney hates what Khloe’s become, which is weak.” Adds this alleged tipster, “Kourtney is happy Khloe finally has the child she’s always wanted, but she just can’t condone the choices Khloe is making.” The publication even maintains Kourtney’s “fury” at Thompson has “boiled over” in Khloe’s direction.

But that’s not what E! Online, which often serves as a de facto mouthpiece for the Kardashian clan, has reported. Though the outlet has acknowledged that Khloe’s family is having a “hard time” accepting that she’s chosen to forgive Thompson, it was specifically stressed, “Kourtney especially has been supportive of Khloe. She understands why Khloe is doing what she’s doing and has been there for her.” The website for the network, which airs “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” has further reported that althoughKhloe has sometimes felt she’s in “hell,” due to the cheating scandal, Kourtney is “more understanding” than some other family members and has “counseled” her sister on how to co-parent.

In fact, E! revealed, “Khloe listens to Kourtney the most and she confides in her daily.” All of this goes directly against the tabloid’s contentions about the stars clashing. In addition, Gossip Cop would be remiss not to point out that the magazine has a history of spreading misinformation about the Kardashians. Last October, for example, the outlet peddled a false story about Kourtney being “pregnant, too,” in the wake of Khloe and Kylie Jenner’s pregnancies.

Of course, time has shown that Kourtney wasn’t also expecting, just as Gossip Cop rightly said at the time. We’re confident the passage of time will similarly prove there’s no real “feud” between her and Khloe, regardless of what happens with Thompson going forward. Indeed, just two weeks ago, Khloe wrote on Twitter, “Family Is #1,” and linked to a post on her blog explaining why their “bond” will “never break.”
